Hi, I am a nine-year resident at Elevate On Fifth and I must say it’s been very excellent. The apartments are very well built very little maintenance request. I had some small problems to be fixed and the maintenance man was exceptional. He fixed everything in minutes and responded to my request almost instantaneously. If you were living in Elevate On Fifth, you can be assured that you’ll get a very well built apartment and appliances and maintenance will be quick and efficient.

I've been living here for approximately 3 weeks so far and absolutely love the place. Aside from an elevator being down for my stay thus far, the maintenance team has been on point. I've made 4 maintenance requests. All of which were completed within 6 hours of submitting the request (including a brand new fridge). Would strongly recommend this place. Assuming they don't raise the rent, I anticipate staying here for a long time.

I have been living at Elevate on 5th Apartments since June, and my experience so far has been excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. The environment is peaceful and quiet, and I rarely hear any loud noises. Overall, it’s been a pleasant and comfortable place to live.

Pros: Affordable, with a great location. Short walk to grocery stores, bars, etc. The gym is pretty solid. Not all of the equipment is in perfect shape, but the place is kept pretty clean and they recently fixed the AC which is a big plus for me. I pay extra for a parking space in the underground garage. No issues so far with this, and I'm sure I will appreciate it even more in the winter. Management has been quick to respond to any issues I might have (so far). Any maintenance requests are usually handled within a day. Cons: Abysmal smell coming from some unit on my floor for the first couple months. Near vomit-inducing. This does seem to have been taken care of, however, as I have not smelled it in about a week or so. Would have loved for that to be dealt with earlier. Valet trash is somewhat unreliable. Either that, or management needs to be clearer about what exact days trash will be picked up. Getting packages delivered is a complete hit or miss. The complex utilizes Luxer One lockers which have enough problems as it is. Half the time, delivery drivers don't bother putting your package in a secure locker. Unclear if this is because there simply isn't enough locker space or what. Presence of unhoused individuals isn't the worst, but it can be a problem at times. You may find someone or a even a group of homeless people sleeping around the property. There's been a handful of times where I've been woken up before 6AM to people having a loud, unintelligible argument. I have not seen any of these people camping out within the actual building, however. Overall, I think you could do a lot worse when it comes to apartment complexes in this city. If you're okay with the cons I've listed, it's not a bad place to live at all.

I'm a new tenant that started my lease in May of 2024. I felt compelled to share my experience with Elevate on 5th. The caveat for this review being that I've only actually lived here for a couple weeks. I'm a 25-year-old mechanical engineering student at the University of Utah. When I toured Elevate on 5th, I found it to have many of the same amenities one comes to expect of apartment complexes. Amenities such as a gym, hot tub, and recreation center. I was pleasantly surprised to see the gym was much larger than a small bedroom, unlike most complexes, and has some decent equipment. It certainly doesn't replace a gym membership for experienced gymgoers but it's far nicer than I was expecting. From what I managed to piece together from many of the negative older reviews, the complex has had numerous managers over the years that have neglected and sometimes outright failed to perform their duty to maintain the complex and assist the residents. Thankfully, Elevate has had a recent change of management and they definitely don't seem keen on repeating the pattern. The place is currently undergoing fairly significant renovations such as making the hallways much warmer and inviting as well as renovating the individual units to have more modern appliances and furnishings. I've found the new management team to be very honest and transparent about their current situation. The previous managers had left the complex in such disrepair that the current team has had their work cut out for them, putting out old fires and getting the complex into working shape while renovating the dated apartments and common areas. My initial experience after moving into my 1-bedroom unit was honestly not the best. In fact, I initially felt intense buyer's remorse when I completed the full-apartment damage inspection after signing the lease. The list of things that were broken or in disrepair was as long as a CVS receipt. I somehow managed to miss so many things on my initial 5-minute tour of the unit and felt a deep sense of dread, thinking that I had paid the ADHD tax big time. From previous experience with apartment complexes and landlords in general, I thought I was never going to be able to get the apartment in working order. Thankfully and to my amazement, I was wrong. The management team has been incredibly responsive. They were sympathetic to my situation and were very quick to address the many issues with the unit. They communicate with residents using text message and they have always been fast to respond to any messages I've sent and do so with a professional, cheery and supportive attitude. The maintenance staff at the complex are great. They work quickly and do quality work. I used to work in the trades for years as a plumber, handyman, and even as maintenance at a gated community; so, I know what quality work looks like. Fabian, the head of maintenance, is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and seems to always have a great attitude that's contagious. Within 2 weeks, most of the repairs have been completed. Management have been timely in giving me updates on repairs as well as on top of coordinating with vendors to get appliances and furnishings repaired and replaced. I feel I cannot overstate how relieved I feel that the management team at Elevate on 5th actually care about their residents and doing a good job. In my experience, management teams like them are incredibly uncommon. I've worked with HOAs and landlords and good management seriously makes all the difference. I don't doubt there are still things that need to be remedied at the complex, but I have faith that management will address them. They truly are a breath of fresh air compared to what I've had to put up with over the years. Also, from my experience, the apartments are well sound insulated and have fast internet, which is fantastic! I feel confident in saying, I definitely recommend Elevate on 5th! Wish I could go into more detail, but I've hit the word limit for this review. Thanks for reading!

i’ve lived here for three years and love it. the price can hardly be beat for a 2 bedroom in this location, and location is everything. i am super appreciative for our wonderful maintenance staff for their prompt and earnest efforts to fix issues in our apartment. i am also grateful for our wonderful new team of office staff. i feel like a karen sometimes submitting concerns or complaints, but this staff has been amazing at listening to our needs. no the amenities are not perfect, but they are well used and loved (r.i.p. to the donation table — you were my favorite amenity). there was a fire alarm system in the fritz and an elevator was down for 2 years, but they got fixed! what i want in my apartment is to feel safe and heard, and that’s exactly what i get here.

As someone that has lived here for 2 years (2022-2024) I definitely have a lot to say about this building. But quick review is that new management is great! When I first lived here the management was awful. The hot tub was broken for an entire year and the elevators were constantly down. However, there is now new management and they are doing an incredible job. Within a few months of them taking over the hot tub opened up again and the elevators have never been broken. They are also very friendly and respond super quick. As far as the actual unit themselves go (I have an unrennovated one): there's an in-unit washer and dryer which is super nice. I have a cornerstone set up and the deck is in the master bedroom which is very odd. We rarely have issues, but if we do maintence is so quick to fix them which is great. The amenities are nice- I've never actually used the theatre but the gym is great. There is lots of equipment options. Only a few of the machines (one eliptical and one treadmill) don't work. There is never cleaner for the machines and for some reason the bathrooms are always blown up (I don't blame elevate lol). Having a parking garage is very nice and generally I feel pretty safe. This building does valet trash- a blessing and a curse. It's so nice to not have to haul trash down, but when everyone puts their stuff out it really makes the halls smell weird and there is no scent things to cover it. There is also no AC in the halls which is actually horrible in the summer both because of the smell and the discomfort when entering/ leaving the building. If you move in the summer be prepared to sweat... As far as location goes this place is pretty great. It's super close to campus, downtown, the Trax, and grocery stores. There is a fire station nearby so you will hear sirens all night, but you get used to it.

Very classy place. Calm as soon. As you walk through the lobby doors. Nicely decorated, Elevate is kept clean and maintained. Pool tables and shuffle board along with T.V. in the resident entry. Also theater/ media areas. The Elevate on 5th Apartments are extremely well rounded from the residents living , to guest waiting. Even the parking here is amazing for the location. I never struggle for a spot and park in front every time.

The team of Kelsie, Tabytha, and Wayne has been no less than stellar, and it's been such a pleasure working with real professionals who want their building to be a great place to live. For me, the location of Elevate on 5th was already about as good as it gets in downtown Salt Lake, being centrally located to most anything and very close to many many restaurants and stores, with probably the best apartment gym I've ever seen. After meeting and talking with Tabytha, who made me feel so welcome and found almost exactly what I was looking for, I had pretty much already decided. I did look at other places, but it was quickly clear that E5 would be best for me, and it has only gotten better since working with the team on moving in and then living here. The extraordinary care that was shown by Kelsie and her team was very unexpected yet so deeply appreciated - thanks to a timely move-out and their proactive efforts, I wound up moving into a unit that was exactly like what I had requested initially. I've thoroughly enjoyed living here, and look forward to living in this vibrant section of downtown. Thanks Kelsie, Tabytha, and Wayne!

I moved in a month ago from out of state, and signed my lease before seeing the apartment in person. The virtual tour is pretty true to what I ended up with. All of the staff members have been super helpful and friendly throughout the process! What few issues I've had so far have always been taken care of promptly. It's in a great central location, walking distance to TRAX, restaurants, and grocery stores. My apartment has a lot of natural light from the big windows, and my balcony looks over the peaceful courtyard. I'm most impressed with how quiet the apartment is! I rarely, if ever, hear my neighbors. That's a huge bonus for apartment living.

Year 1 Review: I've lived here for one year and have enjoyed it so far. The staff is very nice (especially Wayne), and the service requests are fulfilled quickly. My apartment and the complex itself are maintained reasonably well and they're actively improving the areas that should be updated (hot tub and sport court). The gym has most of the necessities (adding two modern stationary bikes would be amazing) and is large enough where you can comfortably have multiple people in the gym. I also think the parking/community fees are reasonable and explicitly outlined, I wish the valet trash pick-up was optional though. The location of the complex is great from a transportation perspective. The nearby Trax station goes directly to the U of U, and just one transfer gets you on the train to the main event venues, shopping malls, FrontRunner, and the airport. I15 and several parks are within a short driving distance and multiple restaurants/grocery stores are within walking distance. Lastly, I've seen a few reviews mentioning the homeless population. While I've experienced/witnessed a few occurrences in the area, the occurrences are not frequent. We recently moved our son into the apartments at Elevateon5th. Leo was on top of it and communicated details at every stage. This was very helpful since we were out of state at the time. Move in was a breeze and the staff on-site at the time we’re very helpful. As a parent dropping off you kid for college it was great to know he would be in such a great environment. The apartment was clean and the underground parking provides for a safe and secure parking spot. I would highly recommend elevate on 5th to others. Particularly University of Utah students looking to be close to the University.

Hello. I moved into Elevate on 5th about 2 months ago and so far the experience has been great. The apartment was more spacious than I thought it would be for a 1 bedroom. The property is very central to everything so if you do not have a car no worries, everything is like a 3-5 min walk. A plus is that the staff are amazing and friendly. Leo the leasing agent was the one to help me with my move in process and he made it very easy and was always available to answer my questions or concerns.

I moved in about a month ago now and the place is great. The leasing agent, Leo, is always super helpful and friendly. If I ever have any questions or concerns I feel super comfortable going to him about it. The apartment over all is nice. I was out of state so I only really saw the virtual tour and what you see in it is what you get. I will say it was larger than I thought when I got here which is a plus. The amenities this place has are also nice and well maintained. The area is very close to anything you could need. The gas station, supermarket, and TRAX are all like a block away and there are food places everywhere. I will say if you're afraid of animals I don't know if this is the place for you because I see dogs on the daily which I warmly welcome but I understand not everyone is found of pets. Overall great experience so far and I would definitely recommend this place others.

My family and I moved in a few weeks ago. We were ready for a complicated process but we’re so pleased to find it really simple and straightforward. Leo was so helpful and understanding and was always available to answer questions and to help us. Our apartment is nice and new feeling with lots of natural light. There were a few maintenance pieces that needed taken care of when we moved in so maybe a closer inspection of apartments before they are rented out. The location is unbeatable with so many restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away. We feel safe with the security in place and the underground gated parking.

Moving into Elevate was the easiest process I think I've ever had with an apartment. Leo, who's one of the leasing agents, helped me get everything set up and the leasing process started. He was in contact with me basically everyday and made things very enjoyable. Leo answered every question I had and walked me through the process and was able to give me a virtual tour while I was out of state. Overall the leasing process was a 10/10, Leo was the best leasing agent ever and I don't think I'll ever get that kind of service anywhere else. I've been moved in for almost 2 weeks now and everything is perfect. The common area is nice, the convenience of having parking is amazing and everything is just more than I could've asked for. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment near TRAX or near downtown to definitely consider Elevate on 5th.

I have been here about two weeks and so far I enjoy living at Elevate. The facilities and hallways are well-maintained and the apartments are new and spacious. The folks at the leasing office were attentive and resourceful and made moving-in much less stressful. Lots of restaurants and local attractions nearby. Looking forward to settling in here.

I moved in towards the end of April so I'm relatively new to Elevate on 5th. In my short time at Elevate, I've been impressed with the communication from management/leasing. I've had a few maintenance requests for a couple of small things around the apartment and they've responded promptly and resolved the issues within a short time on all occasions. Any questions I had regarding the move-in process were answered quickly and politely. I love my apartment and the view. The building is typically very quiet and tidy. The valet trash service, while convenient, can lead to some rather interesting aromas in the hallways. That's my only complaint. I much prefer Elevate to my last apartment and would recommend it to others.

We moved here in March and from our initial contact completing the application process to our move into Elevate on 5th the staff have been great. Kelsie has been wonderful. She helped with the application process and assisted solving minor issues in our move. Sal and Nick have responded to our maintenance requests very quickly. In the short time that we've been living in Elevate on 5th we understand that there was a change in ownership and the new management team are in the process of holding residences to rental policies in place. As a new renter we appreciate management holding everyone accountable.

Nice sized apartments, staff is nice, and they put on fun events for the residents. The common area has a pool table and table shuffle board. We also have access to a hut tub, theater, and pet cleaning station. If you have any problems the staff in the registration office are always willing to help.

This is the first time ever I leave a review for something. I felt like I had to after reading some of the reviews here. I moved to Elevate on 5th a little over 6 months ago, and so far, my experience has been A+. This is my first time living on my own and being 100’s of miles away from home. A big part of the reason why I haven’t gotten homesick is because I have a place that feels like home to me. Everyone in the leasing office and the maintenance personnel has been more than nice to me and to my dog. They’ve attended any issues I’ve had promptly and diligently. In the last month they’ve been making improvements that have only made the place better. Thank you again for the treatment and respect you’ve giving me. Keep up the good work!

The new property manager is working on making the building more secure, which is great. I enjoy the underground reserved parking, so I do not mind paying extra for it. The only complaint I have is that the hallways can smell pretty bad sometimes and the kitchen in our unit is small.

The girls working in the office were extremely helpful and kind through the entire process. I highly recommend this building to anyone looking to live in the downtown area.

Elevate on 5th is a nice, stylish building with updated apartments. Personally, I was looking for a furnished apartment with a short-term lease. Most apartment buildings subcontract furnished apartments at extraordinary rates. Elevate on 5th's rate was very reasonable and the management were very helpful and responsive. The amenities at Elevate on 5th were very nice and well-kept. The building and garage are very secure and the location is top notch. If you're looking for an apartment downtown, I'd highly recommend taking a look at Elevate on 5th.

I recently signed a new lease at Elevate on 5th and Sabrina made sure the sign-up process was quick and easy. In fact, even after an initial issue with my first unit/apartment, Sabrina quickly jumped in to correct the problem and got me another (better) unit...the very same day! I am also anxious to see all the updates that are being made...to hallways, a new dog wash station, etc. I would recommend Elevate to anyone looking for a downtown SLC apartment with great management and services.
